The promise
Presence shares simple statuses like Home, Work and School. It is designed around a hard promise: your family gets presence, not location surveillance.
Phones resolve status locally before anything reaches the backend. Family members see coarse statuses, never live GPS, maps or saved place names, while database rules enforce isolation between families.
The companion dashboard reads current status snapshots only, and the physical clock turns those signals into an ambient household glance. The app works today; the hardware is currently under review.
